Letter to Ireland Farmhouse Bed & Breakfast

Lovely Farmhouse Accommodation Near DungarvanMy husband and I have recently holidayed in Ireland and felt we must thank you for including Mr & Mrs Cullinan's farmhouse in your publication "Ireland Farmhouse Bed & Breakfast". For many years we have enjoyed stays in bed and breakfasts as well as good hotels but feel that our time at Sliabh gCua was by far the best we have experienced. From the warmth of our welcome given by Breeda Cullinan when we called unexpectedly in the morning to book our accommodation and were immediately invited in to coffee and home made scones, to the open fire being lit for us in the evening and our every need being catered for throughout our stay.

As a home economist and cookery journalist, I can not speak highly enough of the breakfast tables which were presented so beautifully and offered every conceivable choice from bowls of fresh fruits, yogurts, ranges of cereals including Mrs Cullinan's quite special home made roasted nutty muesli, freshly squeezed fruit juices to home made breads and a variety of home made preserves, a wide ranging choice of cooked breakfasts - it was the first B&B where we have been offered scrambled egg with smoked salmon- quite delicious! Mrs Cullinan is not only a truly excellent cook but also has a style and flair for the presentation of food too!

Our en suite accommodation was extremely comfortable and beautifully decorated. We can not recommend Mr & Mrs Cullinans farmhouse highly enough and if ever there should be an award for the best Bed & Breakfast in Ireland, it most certainly should go to Sliabh gCua Farmhouse.
